Congrats to the winners of AP2011!

TAKE THAT!

Christopher Chia made history by becoming the second person to take the title of 1A at the Asia Pacific Yo-yo Championship since it's inception. Many congrats to him for a title well deserved!

Results and more after the jump!

Shout out to Marcus Koh, whose well-planned freestyle was one of my favorites

Also shout out to Takuto, for taking Asian Pops to the next level!

AP2011 was certainly an event to remember, because it also marked the return of Shinji Saito and most unexpectedly, 3 time 3A champ and YoyoJoker founder Daisuke Shimada!

Welcome back, mate!

Most disappointing though, is that the Malaysian players failed to make any impact at this year's contest. Well, maybe it's not their day, I dunno. But, better luck next time and hope to see more Malaysian finalists next year!
